About Stone Sailing Club
Stone Sailing Club, formed in 1949, is located on the south shore of the Blackwater estuary in Essex. The club promotes amateur yacht racing and boat sailing, providing opportunities for tuition and seamanship practice. It hosts racing events from late March to mid-December, open meetings and national championships for dinghies, catamarans and keelboats. Cadet members learn to sail from around age seven, whilst adult members can choose from various dinghies, catamarans, keelboats and windsurfers.
