In deep was formed to offer diver training, to serve the needs of divers, to conduct marine research and to promote the conservation of the environments and wildlife we like to visit. In Deep is a PADI five star Instructional and Career Development Dive Centre, located on the beautiful South West coast of the UK, based within the Mount Batten Water Sports Complex in Plymouth.

In Deep has long been established as one of the country's leading dive centres, home to diver training, education & support, offering a range of services & training, from complete beginner to advanced technical and instructor levels.

The staff at the centre consists of a very highly skilled, disciplined team of instructors and professionals. As a team they enjoy technically diving and exploring cave, wreck and reef systems around the world. Supporting British Broadcasting, commercial media production, scientific projects and local authorities including, The University of Plymouth and The National Marine Aquarium. Their combined & individual knowledge of dive education makes the instructional team and support staff second to none, thus enabling them to deliver an excellent training package & programme using state of the art teaching techniques & presentation systems.

Plymouth is considered the dive capital of the UK & In Deep's team, are very fortunate to be situated minutes from the abundance of wrecks & reef systems. Home to stunning sites, dating throughout time & history with beautiful drop off walls, abundant in marine life & fantastic visibility. Our hardboats shuttle service are available to team, members, individuals & large groups. Our experienced skippers offer & very enjoyable & safe days diving with excellent local knowledge.

The centre provides a very professional service that also consists of gas, full retail & product support, servicing & dive charter. An unrivalled compressor & storage bank facility, allows In Deep to supply & cater for gas & customers in a very effective & efficient manner. Our meticulously maintained compressor & gas booster systems ensure a very reliable service. Air, Argon, Nitrox & Trimix to 300 bar can be turned around on demand & our qualified & experienced technicians are on site to offer help & advice with equipment servicing and dive planning. Catering for two thirds of the South West's visiting divers, In Deeps service & facilities are superb.

On site accommodation for up to 60 persons, with fully licensed bar, restaurant, cafe, shower & changing facilities, unlimited onsite parking with overnight hook-ups & power. Unloading and loading area directly in front of your boat. A choice of slips for launch & recovery of RIBs & overnight stay, alongside private & secure pontoon, boat storage facility, fresh water for rinsing boats & equipment. A five minute ferry crossing directly from the centre will take you straight to the historic harbour & National Marine Aquarium & just a short walk will see you in the main city centre.
