About Pacific Sailing School

Pacific Sailing School, founded in 1977, is a sailing school based at the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia in Rushcutters Bay, Sydney. It teaches Australian Sailing and Royal Yachting Association courses, from beginner sailing through to Day Skipper and Yachtmaster theory, plus racing, safety, sea-survival, marine radio and first-aid courses. Training takes place on Sydney Harbour using a fleet of keelboats and catamarans, and the school can introduce students to crewing opportunities on members' yachts.
